Our Story
Ground was born from frustration. We were building AI-powered developer tools and kept running into the same problem: LLMs hallucinate. They make up function names, misremember API signatures, and confidently suggest deprecated patterns.
We realized the solution wasn't better prompts or larger models—it was better context. If AI agents had access to real, up-to-date documentation, they could give accurate, cited answers instead of plausible-sounding fiction.
That's why we built Ground: a semantic search engine that indexes code, documentation, and packages, and provides AI agents with the context they need to tell the truth.
